For those that have been suffering Bestival withdrawal symptoms, then fret not! Help is at hand in the form of a perfectly packaged Bestival reunion party. Yee haa! After the joy of winning two Awards at the U.K Festival Awards (Best Medium Sized and Most Innovative!) we’re out to celebrate the festive season with some Bestival capers and cracking music all wrapped up in a Bestival Christmas parcel.
Saturday December 3rd is the date to very carefully mark off in your diary, the wonderful Koko in Camden is the place to be and the following is what you’ll be jumping about to in fancy dress (optional… but recommended!)
The Cuban Brothers will host the event as only they can, with their unique blend of feel good songs, comedy, dubious tans and naked breakdancing. It's gonna be a very special Christmas performance and they’ll be handing out loads of presents… and Miguel will no doubt be attempting to kiss as many girls as possible underneath the mistletoe!
Stars of Bestival TV – Kitty, Daisy & Lewis - will be coming along for some rockin’ and a rollin’. In case you missed them in the Weird West Big Top at Bestival, these three teenagers have more multi-instrumented talent than you can shake a stick at (so please leave your sticks at home).
Next up, another star of the Bestival Documentary – Son of Dave. The one-man techno-blues beatbox from Canada put on a truly impressive performance in the JD Set Lounge at Bestival and here’s another chance to catch him.
And Sunday Best artist Max Sedgley will play his Live London debut (his first UK debut being at Bestival of course). This makes us Happy!
The infamous Hidden Disco will also return! You’ll only have a few hours to find it this time though so you’d best get searchin’ as soon as you get there! Hint… look out for the lovely Laundrettas as they’ll be holding court there, making it a much sparklier place!
Bestival head-hippie Rob da Bank will of course be on hand to supply Sunday Best good times and tunes. Don’t stop him now… coz he’s having such a good time…
That’s not all mind… a Bestival party wouldn’t be complete without a host of Sunday Best surprises and everyone doing their utmost to look a bit silly!
