Bands from around the south have signed up for a summer music festival
to raise cash for a new community building for Stroud.

The Tin Hut Music Festival, in Stroud, will be headlined by acoustic funk rock quartet Goondocks on July 15. They will be joined by local bands One Weird Fish and The Wide Eyes, top south coast blues group The Mustangs and Devon’s Amy Newton.

Talks are continuing with a several other acts to complete a marathon
12-hour line-up.

The festival will be on land next to Stroud’s existing village hall on
the A272.

East Hampshire’s Stiff Promotions is lining up the bands for the
festival.

Tickets can be reserved in May on-line at www.stiffpromotions.co.uk.
They are also available later this month from Music Sense (15 High Street),

Tickets bought before June 15 will cost £10.Tickets bought after that
deadline but before July 15 will be £15. Tickets at the gate will be
£20.
